About Us

The Puget Sound Ghost Hunters (PSGH) is a volunteer paranormal investigation and research organization, whose primary goal is to assist clients in identifying and understanding the paranormal activity they may be experiencing.

PSGH adheres to strict procedures and policies to promote successful investigations.  All our investigators are fully trained in our protocols and procedures.  These procedures are in place to ensure that PSGH provide state of the art investigation techniques to their clients.  A reliance on the basics allows us to document paranormal activity.

PSGH conducts regular investigations for clients at private and public locations.  The identity of all clients is held in the strictest of confidence. PSGH makes no publication of any investigation location or client information without a signed release from the client.

Private Residences

PSGH investigate private residences on a case by case basis.  Our normal procedures begin with a brief telephone interview with the client.  Based on client reported experiences we will schedule a site visit to view the layout of the location, determine which equipment to utilize and to perform an in-depth interview with the client and other witnesses.  Team psychics are bared from the site visit/client interview process to prevent information contamination.

All investigation data is held private.  NO CASE INFORMATION WILL BE RELEASED TO THE PUBLIC WITHOUT THE EXPRESS PERMISSION OF THE CLIENT.  This included publishing photos or audio/video recordings on the PSGH website.  Clients and PSGH leader will sign an investigation agreement to protect all parties from liability.

Public Locations.

Locations for public investigations include restaurants, hotels, business, state and national parks, cemeteries, etc.  Investigations at public locations are divided into to categories.  Client requested investigations and ghost hunts.

Client Requested Investigations of public locations: The general procedures for a client requested investigation of a public location is the same as with private residences.  Investigation information will not be released without the permission of the client.  When the client requests, PSGH can handle publicity of the investigation of a public location.  This publicity will include press releases, evidence release and promotion.

Ghost Hunts: PSGH occasionally engage in ghost hunts which are scheduled for the benefit and training of members.  These are considered to be just for fun, however our investigation procedures are strictly adhered to.

The PSGH team, while currently small, is extremely knowledgeable in the field, with years of paranormal investigation experience.  We've worked together as a team for 5 years and under the Puget Sound Ghost Hunters name since June 2008.

PSGH team members have been a valuable source of information for media and research outlets on the subject of the paranormal.  Check out our "Articles" page as we start posting some of the papers we've written.
